2022 Pied de Cuve Riesling
The 2022 Pied de Cuve Riesling is made with low intervention, organic grapes and from a fantastic vintage. The wine underwent a wild ferment in old neutral barrels, lees aging to give weight and texture and was bottled unfined and unfiltered with a low sulfur dose. That's how all our Pied de Cuve wines are made.
The 2022 Pied du Cuve Riesling has an intense nose of peach, golden apple, lime, chalk, nectarine, grapefruit with subtle lees and nut notes from the old barrels. The palate is dry, racy in mineral acidity yet textural and rich despite being dry. Good intensity of lime, ripe apple, Asian pear, lemon, chalk and great length.
