2022 Siliceuse Chardonnay – 110 Cases Produced
An unoaked reflection of our Mulberry Tree Vineyard. Chardonnay grapes, farmed organically and wild fermented in stainless steel. The goal was to show the minerality we get from the siliceous (Siliceuse en francais) soils of our Mulberry Tree vineyard. Siliceuse refers to the mineralogy of the site, the siliceous soils made up of the minerals quartz, feldspars and amphiboles that contribute a stony, racy, minerality to the wine. Racy, intense, salty and stony with a spicy edge.
