2020 Pied de Cuve Riesling – 95 Cases Produced
Golden colour with an intense nose of lime zest, baked apple, honey, complex savoury lees notes and dried blossoms. The palate is dry, crisp, textural and powerful with richness balanced with intense salty minerality with some honey, lime, citrus zest, pomello and some nutty notes on the long, stony finish. A wine that will easily age and develop a decade and more.
This wine is made with little intervention. Organic grapes, wild ferment, old neutral barrels, lees aging and bottled unfined and unfiltered with a low sulfur dose. That's how all our Pied de Cuve wines are made.
