The 2020 Pied de Cuve Chardonnay is part of Little Farm's series of low-intervention wines. these are wines that receive almost no intervention from start to finish and are therefore a pure reflection of the place, the grape and the vintage. Pied de Cuve is a technique to start a fermentation using only the yeasts that are naturally occurring on the skin of the grapes.
Salty, mineral, nectarine, toasted nuts, popcorn and savoury lees notes on the nose, with a dry, crisp, intense and concentrated, salty, mineral palate showing flavours of lemon, lemon zest and a long, salty finish.
