2020 Pied de Cuve Orange – 51 Cases Produced
Medium orangey-copper in appearance with some sediment showing the unfined, unfiltered natural approach to the wine. The nose is complex and intense with an exotic mix of orange zest, lemon, earl grey tea leaves, quince, baked golden apple, honey, apricot, peach and baking spices. The palate is dry and quite full bodied with a light phenolic, zesty grip, racy mineral acidity and lots of baked apple, lime, tea leaf, peach, lemon and mandarin orange with a long finish.
