Little Farm Winery produces only single-vineyard wine made with minimal intervention to reflect their terroir. The Chardonnay and Riesling grapes are estate grown on our tiny 4 acre Mulberry Tree Vineyard in Cawston, British Columbia. The Cabernet Franc for the Rosé and red wine is grown nearby at Blind Creek Vineyard.

2016 Mulberry Tree Vineyard Riesling $30 (incl. taxes & bottle deposit) – 248 Cases Produced
Intense, dry, racy and mineral driven Riesling. The 2016 season gave a beautifully aromatic wine showing apples and pears, white flowers and mandarin orange with some baking spice. The palate is crisp, intense and pure with its lemon, lime, peach, green apple and stony and chalky minerality. Bone dry, high acid, powerful intensity, minerality.
2016 Mulberry Tree Vineyard Chardonnay $30 (incl. taxes & bottle deposit) – 240 Cases Produced
The 2016 Chardonnay has a complex nose combining savoury toasted almond, butter and bread dough lees notes with lemon, peach and nectarine. The palate shows a lovely, almost creamy, texture from the neutral oak and lees ageing before the trademark racy, crisp, mineral acidity kicks in and lasts through a long, electric finish.
2016 Pied de Cuve Riesling $30 (incl. taxes & bottle deposit) – 156 Cases Produced
Unfined and unfiltered, this natural expression of Riesling was 100% fermented and aged in old, neutral barrels. Very slightly cloudy in appearance, it launches with an intense nose showing white flowers, white peach, lemon, golden apple, honey and lime. The palate is rich textured yet bone dry with crisp, racy, stony mineral acidity kicking in to give the backbone to the citrus, spice and stone fruit that lingers through an incredibly long finish.
2016 Pied de Cuve Chardonnay $35 (incl. taxes & bottle deposit) – 120 Cases Produced
Aged and fermented in old, neutral barrels, this Chardonnay combines complex citrus, white peach and nectarine with lots of savoury lees and subtle nut aromas. The palate is crisp and fresh with lots of citrus fruit and also richly textured with almond and lees before the racy, stony minerality kicks in on the long finish. Unfined and unfiltered.
2017 Blind Creek Vineyard Rosé $25 (incl. taxes & bottle deposit) – 142 Cases Produced
A pale coloured, crisp, refreshing, dry and savoury rosé. The nose shows juicy red fruit like strawberry, raspberry, some orange zest, baking spice and savoury dried herb notes. The palate is dry, crisp and refreshing with bright red fruit, some savoury lees texture and complexity and a long finish with stony mineral notes that speak of the Similkameen Valley.
A juicy, medium bodied vibrant and lively Cabernet Franc molded more in the style of the Loire Valley than typical BC Cab Franc. Deliberately unfined and unfiltered this wine is cloudy in the glass. It pops with crunchy, fresh mixed berries, savoury dried wild herbs, floral violet notes, earth, leather and spice and has a long, fresh juicy finish.
2016 New-ish Oak Chardonnay $45 (incl. taxes & bottle deposit) – 45 Cases Produced
The 2016 New-ish Oak Chardonnay is not like most Little Farm Chardonnay. Usually we use only old, neutral barrels, but for this wine, as the name suggests, there is some 2-year old oak that adds toasty, butter and nut notes to the crisp and fresh lemon and stone fruit. The racy, wet stone minerality lingers through the finish and the oak gives a wonderful rich texture.
